About Wade Danielson
Wade Danielson is a producer, director and writer with nearly 20 years experience creating content for narrative feature films, commercials and as a managing producer and land producer in themed entertainment. His credits include more than 30 motion pictures, nearly 100 commercials and several documentaries in addition to media pieces for the USA Pavilion at Shanghai World Expo and the soon-opening Atturaif UNESCO World Heritage Museum in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as producing two mythological lands in the K-Culture Valley Theme Park outside Seoul, South Korea.
For the World Expo project at BRC Imagination Arts, Wade worked closely with the State Department to arrange interviews with (then) Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, negotiated filming at the White House for access to President Obama and coordinated with several global corporations to craft media that screened for 7 million people over the course of 6 months. Also for BRC he produced “The Soul of Nashville” live-action shoot for the world famous Ryman Auditorium, working with such notables as the Fisk Jubilee singers, Cheryl Crow, Darius Rucker and Vince Gill.
At The Hettema Group he produced and directed numerous diverse media projects for the Atturaif Living Museum, traveling and working closely with client and production teams in Saudi Arabia as well as stateside, later being tasked with a Managing Producer role in-country. For THG, Wade also land produced two distinct lands for K-Culture Valley Theme Park before returning to Saudi Arabia.
Wade’s prior producing work comprises feature films including the Sundance Film Festival Dramatic Competition film “George B.” starring David Morse; “Heavens Fall” starring Academy Award winner Timothy Hutton, Academy Award nominee David Straithairn and Anthony Mackie about the infamous Scottsboro trials in 1930’s Alabama; and, among others, “Blue Skies Are a Lie,” which was reviewed by the Los Angeles Times as “a stunning film.” Currently Wade is producing and developing “The Camera” which will be filmed in France later this year and will be his third collaboration with Strata Productions in Chicago.
Wade is a member of both the Producers Guild of America and Director’s Guild of America. He is an avid aviator and adventurist and graduated with a masters in communication from the University of Minnesota.
